The brief
The starting point was a snapshot of a hand-built cosplay helmet resting on a sofa: a great prop in the wrong world. The goal was a poster that makes it feel like a still from a film.
The craft
The helmet was cut out and set into wind-carved dunes, with its contact with the sand rebuilt so it sits in the scene rather than on top of it. Light was moved to a low, warm sun to match the new sky, and a line of silhouetted figures was added on the horizon for scale and story. A final grade ties helmet, sand and sky into one palette.
The result
Same helmet, entirely different stakes — a poster built from a single living-room snapshot.
