The brief
An old studio portrait — creased across the forehead, stained and faded to sepia — needed to become a dignified image for a memorial tribute.
The craft
Cracks and stains were rebuilt by hand and facial detail recovered, keeping the features of the person in the original. The portrait was then colorized — skin, hair, suit and tie — and set against a soft, neutral studio background that suits a printed tribute.
The result
A portrait that feels present rather than archival, prepared with the care the occasion deserves.
